The Truth About Cardio

There are so many different opinions about cardio. Some say it’s good, others say it’s not. In this article I’ll break down all the pros and cons of cardio.

Many people say that the bad thing about cardio is that it makes your muscles go weaker and doesn’t really benefit you. It’s not all that true, of course you can’t expect your muscles to grow or become stronger if you’re only doing cardio all the time and don’t do any strength training.

Cardio allows you to burn calories in a quite short amount of time (depending on what cardio you are doing) and can become a really good physical activity if you haven’t train in a while, and can make you more flexible and improve your endurance.

However, you can also burn calories by doing intensive strength training, and it also makes you stronger. Here’s when we come to the best conclusion : we need cardio. Yes, everyone needs it, some more some less. If you’re a girl and are trying to burn calories without lifting weights, do cardio. If you’re a guy working on your endurance alongside strength training, do cardio.

Combine cardio and strength training, and there you will find real balance between cardio exercises and weights, and your workout routine will really improve!

Hope you liked the article, cause I tried to make it as informative as possible,
