We all know about motivation. Feeling motivated is awesome, it’s like being so pumped that you’re ready to beat every goal ahead of you, especially when you’re really motivated. Motivation allows you to put aside your laziness and feel more energized, allowing you to operate and concentrate better. But is motivation all that good and is it a permanent cure for laziness? It’s certainly not, and here I’ll explain why.
First of all, strong motivation lasts only a short amount of time. When you watch a really motivating video/ listen to a super motivating song, you get really pumped, but that condition doesn’t last long. After some time you become the same lazy dude or girl who doesn’t want to do anything at the moment.

Personally, I love motivation. I love being so pumped after watching a video/listening to a song that I get goosebumps, but I don’t rely on motivation, as I know that watching a motivational video every time just to become pumped is wrong and is not for really successful people. Of course, you can always watch a bodybuilding video of a super ripped guy or fit girl doing exercises and a deep voice on the background telling you that you should do the same, but it doesn’t always work like that. I try to develop the quality to motivate myself or just do what I need to do even if I’m not motivated, because that’s what I need if I want to succeed. I advise you to do the same.
In summary, motivation’s great, but you shouldn’t rely on it. Do what you need to do even if you don’t want to, try to motivate yourself by setting amazingly big goals and do everything to accomplish them!
